Watercolor take II

After playing with the gel sticks that a friend got my kids, I decided I'd attempt this whole watercolor thing again. So I got a watercolor starter set and spend time painting with Mr Five as he paints his own things. It's generally gone well, except for the time he spilled an entire cup of water on me. Mother's Day is around the corner, and instead of buying my mom her favorite flower, I decided to paint it.

Soooo basically I'm giving my mom kid art she can put on her fridge. :)
I need to find a frame...

It was interesting to make and just figure it out as I went along. I've got another sunflower painting started, and will plug along working on it during art time with Mr Five.

Those flowers look lovely! The gel sticks are still on my one-day list to try.

The gel sticks were fun. The boys love them and they are way less messy than paint! My only complaint is that Mr Fice pushes on them really hard and they leave chucks of pigment on the paper. These get brushed off and end up everywhere on my floor.
