The collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories I liked was illustrated by Gris Grimly. He's done more than one but this one includes The Masque of the Red Death (there's also an old film with Vincent Price). I did a whole Kinktober set of BBC ficlets set in AU orgy of it, so I am very familiar with that one. I love the different colour rooms. I also liked The Fall of the House of Usher that he illustrated, too, and used that for a Spook Me fic.
